Depart North America for your overnight flight to Thailand

Day 2

Bangkok

Welcome to Bangkok arriving late evening. Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, your local tour guide will greet and escort you to your hotel for check-in Baiyoke Sky Hotel (the tallest skyscraper in Thailand)

Day 3

Bangkok

After breakfast you start a tour of the city including The Grand Palace. After lunch continue to The Royal Temple of The Emerald Buddha followed by a Canal Tour. In the evening enjoy street market shopping and don't miss the view from the Baiyoke observation deck.

Day 4

Bangkok - Yangon

After breakfast transfer to Don Muong Airport for flight to Yangon. Welcome to Myanmar! Upon arrival at Yangon airport, your local tour guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy free at leisure time until late afternoon. Before sunset, you will pay a visit to the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. After the welcome dinner and traditional dance performance, you will pass by the Shwedagon Pagoda illuminated by beautiful lights.

Day 5

Yangon

Today you will explore the city of Yangon from the Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda,housing a giant 70-metre-long reclining Buddha, and the octagonal-shaped golden Sule Pagoda. After a stroll at the Maha Bandoola Park to see colonial-style high court and city hall, head to lively India Town and Chinatown. In the afternoon head for the Bogyoke Aung San Market(aka Scott Market) to find exotic souvenirs.

Day 6

Yangon Bagan

Today take a morning flight to ancient city of Bagan. Upon arrival you start with a visit to the colorful market town of Nyaung U and Bagan's most significant shrines, the Shwezigon Pagoda and Htilominlo Temple.
In the afternoon, pay a visit to a lacquer-ware workshop to see Myanmar's most treasured handicrafts before exploring the amazing mural paintings at the Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple. Later on, watch the sunset over the Shwesandaw Pagoda

Day 7

Bagan

This morning you start with a scenic drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano, its shrines dedicated to Myanmar's most powerful "Nats" (local spirits). Along the way, stop by a local village to learn about local culture and lifestyle. For the energetic, there is time to climb up 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the volcanic plug. Lunch is served at a hill resort. On the way back to Bagan, enjoy a visit to a palm sugar workshop.

Day 8

Bagan Mandalay

Today you will take a morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, proceed to the town of Amarapura to visit Mahagandayon Monastery, the largest teaching monastery in Myanmar. Continue to visit City Harbor Bridge and then have lunch. After lunch activities include a visit to a nunnery in Sagaing Hill,where nearly one thousand nuns live and study Buddhist scriptures. We then take a boat to view the sunset at the world's longest teak bridge, the U Bein Bridge over the enchanting Taungthaman Lake.

Day 9

Mandalay

The day starts with a boat trip (about 1 hr) across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Explore the ancient city of Mingun. Visit the world's largest ring bell Mingun Bell, the unfinished huge Mingun Pagoda referred to as the world's biggest pile of bricks, the Settawya Pagoda with a marble foot print of Buuddha, and the beautiful white Hsinbyume Pagoda. You return to Mandalay to visit Mahamuni Pagoda, home to one of the country's most revered Buddha images, the magnificent Shwenandaw Monastery(Golden Palace Monastery) built from the 19th-century Royal Palace and last, the Kuthodaw Pagoda whose 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures have earned it the title 'World's Biggest Book'. Finally, enjoy the spectacular sunset at Mandalay Hill

Day 10

Mandalay - Heho - Inle Lake

After breakfast you will take a flight to Heho and a drive to Inle Lake for hotel check-in. The days activities start with a trip to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most famous one in Inle Lake region. Next is a visit to a local village to see the production of traditional silks on wooden handlooms and iron ware. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11

Inle Lake

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day sightseeing at Inle Lake. First, is a visit to a local market and then a scenic boat ride through a long channel where you watch the farmers cultivate their produce. You will reach the peaceful Indein Village to see a nice pagoda, the ruins, and watch people go about their daily activities. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afternoon is your leisure time.

Day 12

Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Heho airport for the flight to Yangon. Transfer to hotel. Free at leisure in the afternoon.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Bangkok. After pick up at the airport and check in, spend the afternoon and evening shopping and exploring in the garment and shopping district, Pratunam.
